FAMU BE out DAY 2026

By: Jordan Jackson

One of the liveliest events of the spring semester at Florida A&M University is back. Amid the afternoon heat, students, faculty, and alumni spend a day celebrating the university, separate from the traditional Homecoming weekend. This day-long celebration is not only at the heart of where Black excellence and rich culture live, but also reaches major cities like Miami, Tampa, and Atlanta, bringing the culture of the “Highest of Seven Hills” to the center of their communities.

Many look forward to this event for the variety of local vendors, the high-energy music from the DJ, and the surprise special guest performances. Beyond the energetic vibe, it is the ultimate space to connect and reconnect with the FAMUly.

This year, Be Out Day will take place on April 4 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. Special guest performances by Bunna B and Fly Boi Keno. The Will Packer Amphitheater will shake with the noise the Rattlers make as they cheer and dance. This is a Be Out Day you don’t want to miss.
